does my 93 ls"special" come with rev limiter from company??
i want to know if my integra come with a rev limiter from the company or will it let me over rev and blow my shizznit up!?!?!?!? somebody help! hahah thanks.
ok cuz i was on the freeway and i didnt shift on time from 2nd to 3rd and i felt guilty i thought i was gunna kill my integra.. hahaha
ok theres also another issue ive been having but not too often theres times when the teggy wont start it cranks but wont turn on but when i push start it it starts what do you guys think that might be?? it has high mileage(245k) i got it for 800 bucks it runs strong
Possibly it's not getting enough power from the battery? The rev limiter is programed in btw. Unless if you have a chipped/modified ECU.

hmm.. well its bone stock and it happens randomely.. like one time i was at the gas statin and it didnt wanna turn on but then there was a guy he told me to press the gass in all the way and then try and it turned on.. weird huh?
When was the last time you changed the fuel filter?

Some times the fuel pump doesn't prime well enough ( I think I might have a leak somewhere up front) and it wont start right away. Take a second and go from the off position to On/Run a few times to let it prime and it starts immediately for me.
oh yeah and sometimes it smells like gas in the car.. i have a da9 ls/s also how come it sounds like its vtec and its not.. i ****ing love how the engine sounds after 5k rpms and its stock!
I Googled it, according to Wikipedia, the B18A1 redline and rev limiter are 6500/6700...

its 6800/7000, redline at 6800, rev limit at 7000, do you want me to go take video of how it works and pictures of my tach?
i believe that the redline is 6800 and rev limit is 7k.. i personally have a da9 ls and have yet to even try to hit redline on it so i cant speak from personal experience cause ive always shifted at 5400 just to be on the safe side
f u c k! i had a leak in one of my injectors but thats fixed lets see if it improves my fuel economy now. now i have to figure out why it doesnt turn on at times.. and im gunna sand it and paint it flat black... or should i do it midory flat green??
