the car is a 1996 del sol si 5sp. I swapped the engine for another stock d16y7 engine and transmission spins.?. it took quiet a bit to get the engine and transmission together what could it be its a new clutch and pressureplate

 

Is the clutch slave cylinder piston applying pressure to the pressure plate fork? Or is the clutch not grabbing the fly wheel when in gear?

 

cant quiet get the slave cylinder on the clutch fork is to close to the mount holes
shifter in neutral start it up and half shafts rotate? clutch peddle laying on the floor not hooked up. hard for me to explain
