Default engine swap, plus y8 intake mani on y7 question

I've been reading threads all morning and haven't been able to find an answer to these questions, so here's what I have going on:

I have a 2000 Civic LX. I have rebuilt another d16y7 engine with a block from a 98 and a head from a 96 to replace my worn out engine. (Sourcing parts is hard in Arkansas, so I got what I could.) I want to put this engine into my 2000, but with a y8 intake manifold instead.

Here's one question: Which intake manifold do I need to use? I found a 96-98 auto manifold, but it doesn't have the extra cold start assist holes. I assume that I need a 99-00 auto manifold because the wires are OBD2b, but I'm also not sure how that will affect the rest of the engine.

Any suggestions/wisdom?

99-00 d16y8 manifolds have the air assist ports in the IM that would need to be plugged to avoid vacuum leaks. You should be fine with a 96-98 auto d16y8 IM.

Does the 99-00 y7 intake mani not have a similar setup, or is that only for the y8's?

My 99 civic LX D16Y7 does not have it, so it's safe to say that only the D16Y8 have it.

Edit: It air injection, not air assist, had to break out the FSM.
