Default Euro-R Lip Fitment/Install Question for 06 TSX

Ok so evrybody knows the difference that when the tsx hit the 2006 market, they changed the whole front bumper look from 04-05 style. I wanna get the euro-r lip kit for my 06 tsx. The sides and rear will fit perfectly with no problems. But my front, its got the oem fogs on the front along with those lil grille things right on the outside of the fogs on the front. Now, evry pic ive seen of the euro-r lip on a 06 tsx, didnt have those lil grille things there which is what im pondering. Do/Would i have to get a new bumper to fit the euro-r lip or how do those lil grille things go away when installing the lip? And bless u for those that read this long a$$ post lol and thanx

The foglight bezels are separate from the bumper and should be removed when you install the Euro R lip.

Yea, i just found a thread from 2007 with a real good comparison pic of a stock 06 and euro-r lipped 06. So im guessin the lip just goes right over top the foglight areas then under the under grille the back up and over the other fog light?

Where'd you find the comparison, I'm curious to see it myself.

I know it just looks alot like the 06 style, but u can see where the front lip drops more, the sides stick out, and the rear is lower too. The only reason imma prob choose this over mugen is cuz i dont feel like dealin with havin to buy brackets for the fog lights to fit the mugen lip

You might be thrown off by the fact the "Euro-R" version has been dropped at least 2", maybe 3", making it look lower. I brought a coupla pics in Photoshop and realigned them using the center lower window sills and center front lip of the hood/bonnet. (Don't confuse the US grill and the Euro grill, i used the actual center-front lip of the hood. I know the side mirrors don't line up -- probably lens distortion or perspective -- but the front lower corners of the headlight assemblies, and the centerline of the foglights, do line up. )

Then drawing flat lines across, the lower front lip doesn't seem so much lower, as thicker on it's lower cross beam (increasing drag a tiny bit I suspect, btw, by increasing frontal area; IANAE, though). It IS a nice look, I LIKE the Euro-R look.

I think there's distortion in the side shot (TSX is further to the left), here it does look like the front lip comes down a bit more at the wheel well.

I like the look, but for what I imagine it costs, I'd rather put functional improvements in: big brakes, suspension, anti-sway bar, reflash, . Maybe you've got really deep pockets, but in this economy I think frugality is a virtue. YMMV.

From what I'm looking at, it may "look lower" to some, but it really isn't by very much. I personally think it doesn't add enough that I'd spend money on it. YMMV.

The drag coefficient is already 0.27, which is pretty damn slippery, the "aero" kits are IMHO just for show. Now, if you're trying to throw thou$ands at the car to make it look "diff'rent," then this would be a great way to squander money, short of just sending it to me to invest for you.

You know i thought the same thing, and that the mugen one looks nice too, but with the mugen lip, ud hav to buy new brackets just so u could mount on ur oem fogs, and idk if id wanna go thru havin to wrry bout that too
