rubber btwn lip and bumper
i seen a few s2ks with a rubber strip btwn the bumper and the lip along the top edge of the lip WAT IS THAT! i want to put that on my si lip for my ek before i install it...

Those come like that. I've never seen an Si lip with one of those strips on it. I've asked this question before. People just told me to make one myself.

My '98 front lip came with it too. It's just a rubber seal that helps the lip fit a little better and keeps the bumper protected a bit.
No it isn't.
The adhesive strip isn't visible when installed.
This is what we're talking about (different lip though).
Installed.
Up close (before paint).

It's a rubber seal.
My '98 front lip came with it too. It's just a rubber seal that helps the lip fit a little better and keeps the bumper protected a bit.

Why do you need photos of more cars with them?
Just get some from a trim shop. I got replacement stuff for the rear (it was painted over) from a place called Auto Trim Design.
See if you can find some up close or something so you can confirm the best design of the seal to use though.
When I first put my lips on someone said they looked okay except for the gap all around them. LOL
