Default Recommend best coilover for money.

I have an 00 Si. I'd like to get a set of coilovers. I recently bought a set of Stance coilovers for my Evo and am very happy with those.

Which coilovers are best for a Civic? I just want a basic set as this car is a daily driver. Nothing outrageously expensive. Quality and durability are concerns. I have no problems with a stiff ride so that is not an issue.

Well what Im going with and something that has great reviews and a great price are the Function and Form Type 1's. Great overall DD coilover and for $630 shipped it's a great price!

Pass on those. Get a set of Progress CS2's. Cheaper and a better product.

I am actually strongly considering the Progress CS-II. Probably with 350front/350rear spring rates. Might consider 350/500. Any known issues with the CS-II? Main concerns are quality and durability?

Never heard any issues with them that's why I bought a set. So far I cannot comment on ride quality since the weather has prevented me from getting them on. They are not for slamming your ride so if that's what you want get F&F.

Koni Yellow/Ground Control setup. The Koni yellow shocks are lifetime warranty. For the EK chassis, 8k/6k springs are pretty good for DD, 10k front, 8k rear for track or depending on your conditions.

So how low are you running them? Just curious. I rebuilt my B18C and now my Tokico HPK201s can't keep my tires on the road when VTEC engages, so I'm back in the market for suspension.

I am liking what I am reading about the Progress CS-II, I'm thinking of dropping my Civic to the point where the tire is flush with the fender, and I need a higher spring rate over my Tokicos.

You want the tire flush with the rim?

I still say koni/gc!

Ive rode in several cars with Function Form type ones and they rode better than factory. Plus theyre about the cheapest fullbody coils you can buy. I wouldnt suggest sleeve coilovers.
