NEED HELP..TAKE A LOOK WHAT I FOUND IN MY OIL PAN
hey guys, today i dropped my oil pan on my 98 turbocharged gsr motor. i noticed a -C- shaped object in my oil pan (picture below)..its metal and about the size of a nickle. does anyone know what this could be?? THANKS

I agree..
Just finished a rebuild that used those spiral locks for wrist pins - don't see them being able to fall out like this.
I would be concerned that without the clip, the wrist pin will scoot off to the side and score the cylinder - especially if it's built and using floating pins rather than the pressed-in type.
Did you do the rebuild? Does it look like the clips you used?

definetly do belive it a wrist pin clip.. i even googled one real quick lol looks exactly the same.
from what i can find, it looks like there supped to be "bent" looks like an "e" once installed
