Default 91 ef hatch axle prob.... READ READ READ all the big boys please read

Ok this is my setup , I have a D15B Vtec with a DOHC ZC tranny and i cannot get the driver side axle to work correctly. I am using my stock axle with a 27 spline differential bearing end on it , the end is like 1/8 of a inch too short and will NOT lock into the diff. And I cannot use a half shaft. So i need to know if there is a axle that will work correctly . Or a axle end that will fit my axle/bearings that is a lil bit longer splines to lock in and keep from coming out and spray tranny fluid everywhere !!!!

You need to run a halfshaft (IIRC the holes are on the back of the D15B Vtec block, i know for sure they are on a Z6) or you'll have to swap the 2 side gears (spider gears the axles fit into) for some DX ones.

In that case you'll need to open the transmission and swap the two spider gears the axles are splined into for some DX ones then, and run DX axles.

have to swap the whole diff.

If you only swap the spiders, the axles will have a MAJOR wobble issue!!!!

I would contact Raxles and see if Marty can put different inner joints to solve this issue.

Really? I seem to recall some old post here, or maybe on D-series.org or the thezcr that said to do that. I don't doubt you at all, I'm just sure I read that somewhere.

Mista Bone is right. The diff housing on the ZC has a 28mm opening for the CV joint and the USDM SOHC D series diff has a 26mm opening. The whole diff will need to be changed.

i tried to read it all. doesnt sound like you addres motor mounts? i could be wrong.
i know you have fancy stuff. but possibly one of the mounts is hobled out or loose?
also your fancy ITR trans...hows the dif in it? never heard of trans causing vibro though.
what about your fly wheel? oem weight?

if you think about it. what makes it shake is either the road or the motors power. starting at the flywheel...to trans. to axle to control arms then wheels....you worked on wheels and stuff. but go the other direction now.
