03 EX Coupe leaking passenger side
Hi,
I have had a leaking problem, seems to be right be coming out of the lower glove box and if I'm driving on the highway it comes all the way up the A pillar.
Last weekend I took off the passenger side windscreen molding clean and filled the gap between the windshield and the pillar.
Came back after 4 days of vacation and still have a water leak, I will check the sunroof drainage tube again it was not clogged the last time I looked but is it possible that it is cracked?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dan

2 possible causes:
1. Heater core is bad. This will leak near the center of the dash. Expensive fix, flag hours are like 6 or 7 hours plus a $200 heater core.
2. Rain drain tube has probably come loose. This will leak down the A pillar. Here's a pic of the driver's side:

Thanks Laz, it is definitely leaking from the passenger side on the very right of the car. I poured water through the tube with no problems. It took about 1/2 hour of a pressure washer for the water to show up. Any ideas?

Bad windshield seal? Checked the grommet between the door and the fender?
Have you looked under the dash to see if you can trace the source of the leak, or are you just taking guesses?
Where are you spraying the water to test for a leak? The windshield, the roof, the door window??

Unfortunately I'm just guessing as to where the leak is but can tell you that it is coming from inside the dash as I notice water dripping from the bottom of the dash.
I un-hinged the glove box but there is a lot of stuff in the way to get a clear view of where the water is coming from.
When spraying water it is not a simple matter of spraying and checking I literally had to spray water for 1/2 hour to see something and it was all over (I was detailing my car at the time)

Something to check, when these cars were new, the evaporator housing was leaking water in to the cars, the drain tube wwas either clogged or not connected, Honda Canada had a service bulletin. Could also be urethane windshield seal leak, if the windshield had ever been changed, windshield would have to be removed and resealed.
