1993 civic ex sedan passenger water leak HELP!!!
ok well in the past week i noticed a water leak on the passenger side floor and cant pinpoint it. i check the seam sealer like the bulletin says. the sunroof drains are working fine. i pulled back the carpet and even had someone run a hose over the windshield and water cowl and the water just runs out on the ground and you can not see any coming in. the only thing i can think of is that it rained super crazy hard today for 1 hr straight and it couldnt drain it fast enough idk? its driving me nuts!!!!! any ideas?

hey man i was having this problem to, if you look under the dash where the carpet meets the firewall and straight up there is a bottlenecked piece that says ac somthing or another on the bottem of it, well coming out of it theres a hose that runs into the firewall, mine was broken off and i fixed it with a bendy straw and electrical tape....been running strong for awhile now.............atleast that was my problem

well i checked that tube and it looks fine its still connected etc. i opened the sunroof and poure prob 2 gallons of water down the pass front tube to make sure its working and its all draining right out on to the ground. gonna pull off the water cowl and go from there prob something under there i think.

well i ended up taking off the wiper cowl to see that there is a foam seal that seals the cowl and seals the area where the fresh air vent is. and the seal is so old it was all deteriorated there was basically nothing left. so i undend up getting some new foam and some double sided tape and making a new seal. it did rain hard the next day and i found no water coming in. so take a look at your cowl and see what you come up with.

So that didn't fix my leak. Seems to be coming from the foam seal for the window vent. The one that's permanently aimed at the window. No idea how to access that though.
