Leak passenger side front

Leak passenger side front

Leak is below the the glove box, seems to saturate the lining under the the carpet. This lining is the rubber topped lining that is directly over the floor pan\lower firewall. There are drips coming from a screw that comes through the firewall\pan rubber liner.
Been able to confirm this is NOT from the heater core. If it was, we would be getting antifreeze\coolant and not water. This is plain water.
This has me baffled.

Re: Leak passenger side front (RetPara)
Thought some happy snaps might help also. This is just from today drips can still be see on the rubber underlayment that would be under the carpet. When I discovered this the water actually pooled in some of the recesses when the foam carpet backing was squeezed.....
Thanks one and all for looking... I display my ignorance happily.

Re: Leak passenger side front (RetPara)
The water leaking onto the floor is coming from the heater case, you know the big black thing in the top of the pic's. What happening from gust looking a the pic's, that the heater case vent tube, for the water that puddles up from the evaporator. So check you vent tube under the hood, it will be around the area were the heater case is. Gust take a coat hanger straighten it out and put it into the tube, due to the fact that it might be stopped up.
If this is happening when its raining only well then, water is getting into the fresh air intake on your cal, were the wiper blades are. There for draining out of you blower motor.
How this helps
