Default any ideas for engine swap for a 95 hatchback si

What's up tech! I have a pearl white 95 civic hatchback si, its all stock.

I'm new at this, I just got my hatch. I love it.

Do you guys have any ideas of what I should do to my car engine and pretty much anything in and outside of the car? Help!

Thank you

Since you claim to be new at this if you're looking at swaps stick with a stock B series swap. It's entirely bolt in with the right combination of parts and relatively cheap in terms of swap related parts. The engine will fit in a stock type way so you won't have to worry about breaking axles constantly due to poor CV angles, etc that can come from other swaps. The D16Z6 is a nice engine though, I had one in my 93 Del Sol Si a couple years ago and I loved it. I had a CAI, adjustable cam gear, aftermarket exhaust manifold, custom stepped exhaust, fuel pressure regulator, and a tune and that thing ran well.

First thing that should be on your list regardless if your going to mod the car or keep it stock is a good "Stealth" installed alarm system.

And you can make that D16Z6 fast....with Boost. Since your new..start reading and learning as much as you can before you start any project, Or you will end up doing things twice and costing yourself more money.

im just curious? Why do you people ask these questions? Last time i checked it was YOUR car and YOUR money..its not our car to put parts on..its yours so you do what you want to it..theres no need to impress others and be like some one else that your not..be your self and do what you want to it instead of going with what other people say what would be best on YOUR car

PS: unless you wanna give me your money so i can buy parts for it? ha

I love it! Name calling! Can't even have a decent conversation without it devolving into a pissing contest. You guys sound like you're in junior high school.

If you want to get nit-picky about it this is a tech forum. You have yet to ask a single technical question. You're probably better served asking this in the Appearance forums.

Instead of continuing the high school mentality this thread was doomed to endure the sec the OP posted it all I will say is read the FAQ. You're not the first person building a civic. You're question has been asked thousands of times. Please do some research instead of asking people how you should build your car. And really grow up, name calling is for high school.

First off, alarm, alarm, alarm, can't say it enough!!!

Second, Most of these guys are trying to get more information about you, your car and your intentions for it. As with texting, there is no way to coney emotion and/or attitude, so before you fire back with name calling, take that into account. You may read it one way, but it was meant 180* off of how you took it.

Third, follow the advice already given, please read the FAQ's and let's get this thread off of name calling, there is no call for it.

Fourth, Welcome to the forum and enjoy your EH3

I say keep it all stock minus the suspension and some new wheels to keep the originality of the car since they are getting harder to find keep it og that's my 2 cents

sell the car to me... if not then:

fresh white paint, CF hood and hatch, SIR front lip, white 15" mugen NR wheels.
as for motor, B18C5 with i/h/e (and a good header not a cheap one)
suspension, Tein Coilovers, Mugen front and rear strut bars, ASR subframe brace.
and Hasport engine mounts, and skunk2 short shifter and shift ****.

that should be a good start. kinda makes me want to build a hatch now...
