Default Differences in adjustable ball joints

I found these ball joints from SPC;

P# 67125 One set of adj ball joints has a range of -1.50 degree to +1.50 degree.
http://www.spcperformance.com/compon...AFrom&to=USATo

P# 67320 This other set is recommended for applications lowered more than 1.5", with a +1.50 degree to +3.00 degree adjustment.

I'm lowered about 2.5", so my question is: Using P#67320, will my camber be +1.50 degree at its most negative position? What is the purpose of this? I don't want positive camber angles.

I've got the Ingalls Balloint camber kit. I too am lowered about 2-2.5 inches.

The numbers don't mean thats what your camber will be at. It means how much it can adjust. So if you currently are at -3 degree and you buy the second kit it will make your camber 0 degrees.

I've ran 2 sets of Ingalls camber kit, and these boots just took another sh*t on me. The lifespan of these kits haven't impressed me at all. I've heard good things about SPC so I'm going to give them a try. They look like the exact same design as the Ingalls kit; hopefully the boots can hold up.

I hear ya. My boots are split too, but it doesn't seem to be causing me any problems so far.

Typically it gets contaminated in the joint and/or the grease displaces. It causes squaking & creaking when my boots split.
Anyone run SPC's adjustable ball joint with the +-3 degree adjustment?

these camber kits suck.

Get the ingalls anchor bolts. they are much better.

We're talking about 6th gens here. Haven't seen any anchor bolt camber kits except for previous generations.

Ah okay.

I just looked and the design is completely different.

Ok after some searching it appears that 5th gen preludes have the exact same setup as your 6th gen accord UCA.

What I would do now is go to the junk yard and try to put a 5th gen prelude UCA on a 6th gen and see what happens.

It so happens the two are so similar that they use the exact same bolt up top.

The ball joint boot part numbers are the same as well. You just have to find out the size of the threads.

5th gen (97-01) Prelude

6th Gen (98-02) Accord (4 Cylinder)

Anyways..

It looks like if this does work out, the prelude arms can give you a lot of positive camber correction if that is what you desire and the prelude can get lots of negative correction (stance setups) if that is what they want as well.

The SPC kits bang the inner fender depending how low you are and how much adjustment you add.

These kits CORRECT camber between those degrees. So if for whatever reason you had +1.5° and wanted it to be 0°, you would buy the first kit that would allow you to camber in (so negative value) 1.5°. If you were sitting at -1.5° and wanted to be at 0°, you could on the first kit add camber outwards (positive value) 1.5° and net would be 0°.

The other kit corrects from 1.5° to 3.0° so you could be at -3.0° camber and the kit would bring you back to 0°. Or from -2.0° to 0° or -1.5° to 0°.

The kit would also work from -5.0° but would only correct it by 3.0° leaving you with -2.0° of camber.

To determine which you need/want find out what camber you have now and decide where you want to be. If you have -1.5° or less then buy the first kit.
