CRX stage 3 clutch - pedals/cables breaking.
First my cable snapped then I replaced the cable.
Then my clutch pedal started tearing, so I took the pedals out and welded the bracket where it was tearing, then 2 weeks later it started tearing in a different spot.
Put new pedals in, I can't find any tears on the new pedals but I have to keep tightening the clutch cable in order to be able to shift smoothly and not have to jam it into gear.
Is there anything anyone can recommend?
I was thinking maybe something needs lube so there isnt so much strain on the cable/pedals?

Get rid of the clutch. Overkill for your setup unless you're tracking it and using slicks. If it's a daily, try something like an exedy stage 1. Mine held up to my old B16 on nitrous and its now on my B20vtec.
I had a honda civic wagon with a itr transmission and a b16a in it, 7lb flywheel and stage three clutch

I just swapped an rt4wd pedal assembly and welded brackets into it.
rt's have stronger pedals.

I know that the clutch is too much but I was thinking of keeping it in there for when I go turbo at the end of this summer. But I just might have to get rid of the clutch simply because of this problem anyways....

I got a Stage 1 Exedy, I got problems shifting now. Got a slightly mod B16 with Type-R tranny. Happens only when it gets hot from a Time Attack or a 20 minute lapping... I have to keep adjusting the cable tension....not normal. Going back to Type-R OEM clutch which I had before and had zero problems.
