ive been searching around for the thread that i read a while back about a new/different honda MTF? was i dreaming, or has honda produced one and only one MTF for years.? maybe it was acura MTF? which i think would be the same.? i though there was something about a different part number..? if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great. thanks in adv.

They just changed colors on labels but to my knowledge same great stuff. I'm probably wrong though... lol But I use straight OEM and it works best for me.

I think the label change went with a new more environmently friendly product, I believe, but I could be mistaken. But I do remember the topic of the label change came up awhile back.

The topic of Acura mtf came up as well, and I believe it was concluded that it is the same as Honda mtf, just in a different bottle.

I'm pretty sure they reformulated it as well, with different friction modifiers to make smoother shifting. The old stuff was a yellowish color and the new formula is a light purple (lavender ) color.

I didn't notice any light purple. I did green label Honda 2 months ago. no difference whatsoever. had almost 54,000 miles at the time.
