Hi mates first of all sorry for my English but here is the deal

I'm planning to Boost my Civic 98 JDM B16a SIRII for an street daily drive setup hoping to get at least 210-220 whp on pump gas knowing that the best pump has in this country barely hits 85 oct and here comes the questions

-Which compression should i go with this setup that not compromise my spool time a lot
-Which size of turbine/compressor
-Its necessary to replace the stock rods??
-Injector size
-Can i use stock integra GSR piston that make my comp 9.1?
-An stronger oil pump its gonna be necessary?

dajum, 85 octane.......

LS pistons and a small snail will spool decent and make 200+ whp

no need to replace ords or oil pump
yes you can use the GSR pistons
injector wise, the dsm 450's will be more then enough

4-7 psi on a small snail should get you there

I did a little research about the octane in our pumps gas and the best i can its 82 octane then 91 101 an 109 on vp racing fuel but im trying to run on pump gas.

Soo wich size specific turbine A/R, trim ect???
I will be able to run on 10 psi??

Just get a good manifold 450cc injectors 50 trim turbo and s300 and make 200+hp under 12 psi.

 

just get a water methanol kit. it makes it to where you can run low octane.

How is the gasoline rated at your pumps? There are several different variations...

 

must pump in the Dominican Republic have a lot of water in them gas is not that regulated out there. loco if all you want is 230whp just get some 450 or 500 injectors leave the motor as it is no changes just make sure you get a good tune.

 

i love the just use meth replies, im not saying it doesnt work, i am saying what happens when it runs out/fails?

Thank yall for your response im not going meth im just gonna use a an octane booster like SIR said and get it well tuned on Hondata but i cannot leave the compression so high because remeber its an SIRII 10.4.1 its to0 high for this crappy gas pump
My last cuestion
Will my engine with 8.5.1 pistons will spool fast an Garret .48 a/r turbine and achieve my goal of 200+ hp??????? or i should use instead the 9.1.1 pistons or higher comp

Note i already have those pistons and turbine in my hands thats why i want to know if its ok to use them

 

i used to live in santiago and my i had the same setup you have. i had 9:1:1 srp pistons on my setup and it worked good down there. you can use the turbo on the saab's they are small and easy to find in DR.
