intake manifold from d16Y8 to d16z6
i swapped the intake manifold from a d16y8 obd2 to a d16z6 obd1. I kept the obd1 injectors on the y8 fuel rail. Now it still throughs check engine and the idle is to high. I think it might be an issue with the sensors?????? any body got advice?????
why the hell did you do that? the y8 mani is just as good if not a little bit better than the z6 mani, it's been proven! caused yourself a headache for no extra power
I think he's saying he swapped to a Y8 from a Z6. But yes you probably bought an auto manifold which doesn't have the IACV, you can check this pic to make sure:
