Don't half *** it, if you can't do it right don't do it!!

Anyways, no there is no way to cut them to fit. You will need everything that is 99-00, and you will have to modify the coresuport.

car-part.com might show a yard in your area with the correct replacement parts for a good price (and no shipping).

Glad I could help. A lot of yards use that. At the very least it might help point you in the right direction to find some parts.

the hardest part for my to find it the front bumper for the civic. wonder if it would be wiser to get the front bumper assembly for the vehicle instead of ordering a bumper and the reinforcement beam

The link I posted, sometimes the part isn't listed. Find a part in the same area (say you need the front bumper beam (the metal piece) then you'll want to just look for any place near you with a front bumper (no matter what they call it).

Remember that yards just keep their parts on the car, generally speaking. So if the front bumper cover is in good shape, chances are the beam beneath it is as well.

Well, neither the plastic bumper cover or the metal bumper beam beneath it touch each other when they're assembled. There's a piece of styrofoam between the two.

It really depends on what is damaged on your car. Often when the bumper beam is damaged, so is the cover (which is normally just called the bumper).

You'll need to remove the bumper (aka bumper cover) and check the bumper beam for damage.

Then when you call the yards you find listed on car-part.com you can ask if they have the applicable parts and how much that would be.

Some yards remove the parts from the yard cars, some don't and some will if you want them to (for a fee) or you can pull the item yourself.
