k24a2 CEL/ECU problem
Hi, So i have a k24a2 powered 00 si, running on a kpro ecu.
From time to time it has been throwing a cel, sometimes while just cruising, but mainly during spirited driving. The cel it's throwing is P0217 engine overheating. When it throws this code the temp gauge typically jumps up to hot for a couple seconds and then back to normal, and sometimes with out throwing a cel the temp gauge will jump down to cold and then back to normal. I stupidly ignored this problem until lately, when it has become much more frequent.
Yesterday while driving it threw a cel again and seemed to lose power, and was idling high, until i would tap the gas then it would idle normal again. It is now throwing both codes P0217 and p0123 TPS high voltage. Today while driving the temp gauge went to all the way hot above the hot jumping up and down a little, and the car would shut off every time i took my foot off the gas, but the motor did not feel abnormally hot, nor did the coolant hoses, and there was no swelling of the hoses or steam. I have no idea where to start but i am thinking maybe a ground problem? Any help is appreciated thank you
