anyone have the carbon fiber ctr guage bezel?.. how hard is it to install?.. let me know whos installed it.. thanks..

 

 

i really need some help.. i bought this today, but it wont fit because of the maintenence required reset buttom, because ctr's dont have that.. if anyone has successfully installed this.. let me know how.. thanks in advance.

 

just dremel it if it doesnt have one, but honestly, why would a honda civic type r not have one? maybe you have a knock off one......well seriously, just dremel and youll be cool.

 

you either remove the maintenance button or cut a hole in the bezel to fit the button
i chose to just remove it completely and just cut the button off
oh and civic type r clusters dont come with maintenance buttons

thanks.. roaringturtle... but what do you do when the green maintenence bar turns orange or red?...

 

nothing, heh i dont even use the maintenance bar
so it doesnt matter to me

 

so anyone else do it a different way?

 

There really isn't any other way. Either ditch the button, or cut a space in the bezel so it will fit. I would just dremel the bezel.
