Alright guys well i finally got settled in to somewhere semi permanent and its time for me to dive into a build.

I wanna build a turbo b18. I got some pretty high goals in my opinion. I really want to get at least 600hp to the crank. Now when i say im gonna build it i mean from the ground up. I've never done this comprehensive of a project before but im determined to do as much as possible on my own.

First things first, I need to go out and buy a bare block. Do the different models of b18's matter that much or can i just pick up a standard LS block? I'm assuming im going to be needing sleeves but im honestly positive on much right now. I'm not in a huge hurry to get it done, this is going to be a well over time kind of project. Any sort of input will be greatly appreciated, anything from turbo size/model to internal parts im going to be needing.

All im interested in right now is the engine, the car will come later in the future.

Also any kind of parts you refer could you please explain to me why it would be the best choice.
