You can use a match set of H22 gears (C/S & M/S) on any H22 box or a match set from an H23 in an F22. The synchro size is different from the H23/F22 and H22 so in order to swap these you will need to change both 3rd gears, both 4th gears along with the 3-4 sleeve, hub, synchros, springs and forks..

No - the LS 4th is smaller and uses a smaller synchro. Since 3rd and 4th share the same fork and sleeve, this set up will not work. You can do the B16 1-3, GSR 4th and LS 5th.

my ideal situation would be a long 2nd gear from the m2j4 2.0 4th gen prelude box with the short 3rd gear from u2q7 accord type r box

what would i need to do this, the only other gear needed would be reverse,
1st 4th and 5th are not needed.

many thanks Adam

both counter and main shaft gears would be needed along with the sliding hub assembly and synchro/spring. id grab both boxes just to make sure you do not need to swap shafts /other gears just to be safe
