so my crv one day just stopped running with no cel or anything, i checked timing belt, spark, fuel and timing... all were good. i can get the motor to start and idle after cranking on it for a little bit, it will aslo rev up if you go slow but will stall if you press the gas fast but the motor will not take any load.

any help will be appreciated

 

Check fuel pressure.
Double check timing belt marks.

 

checked cam gears and both were up in the same spot on the cams, but i will need to check fuel pressure

 

when i do get it running it runs fine but cant accept a load that is why i think it is not mechanical timing, but could it be in the dist.

 

Could be the coil which is inside the distributor.
Could be the MAP sensor which advances the ignition timing when you apply load.

Quickest way to check these is to swap them out with known good units.
