Anyone know what kind of teins these are?
I'm picking up these tein coilovers for my 93 vtec for $600, but I know they aren't the adjustable dampening kind. They were taken off a car in japan, but they must be the earlier model teins because they arent ha or ss by the looks of em.

bring this back to the top...
I got the coilovers today.. They look like they're in pretty good shape. I'm going to need some liquid wrench to take off the top nut, and I might need to replace the dust covers, but that's the least of my worries.
I was planning on powdercoating the springs, but I realized it was gonna cost $120 for all 4, so I bagged that Idea. I'm just going to take them to the school's machine shop and have them sandblasted. Then I'm planning on primering them, putting a bunch of coats of hi-temp paint and some clearcoat on top of that.
Should I risk sandblasting the bottom of the strut and the threads or should I just sand them by hand or with paint remover? Any Ideas please? I was planning on painting the bottom of the strut metallic gray and lightly coating the threads with a silver color or something... I'm open to any ideas tho, let me know
And the engraving at the bottom of the strut says..

Thanks for the input.. i'll look into it. I just finished stripping the old paint off and repainting them. I used 2 primer coats, about 5 coats of mettalic grey for the strut bottom, and finished it with 3 coats of clear. It looks pretty dope. Once I get my springs sandblasted and painted I will reassemble them and post pics.
2 of the bumpstops on the front struts are worn and I want to replace them, as well as the dustcover's for the front stuts too. Any ideas where I can get these? Will a store like pepboys or autozone carry them? Also I need some wrenches so if someone could post a link for me to buy some that would be awesome. thanks
