rattle noise when pushing in clutch
I drive a 97 prelude SH.
My car started making a noise last night after a long interstate trip back to school. I noticed that, mainly while in 1st and 2nd, after accelerating and pushing the clutch in to go to the next gear, a rattle noise comes from the engine bay. It happens when the clutch is first pushed in and then goes away if i just drift down the road with the clutch in. Also, the higher revved the engine is when i engage the clutch the louder the rattle is. No noise when releasing the clutch in the next gear either and doesn't appear to affect how the car changes gears. Any suggestions?

if it makes noise when slightly pressing the clutch pedal, not all the way down to the floor then it is most likely ur throw out bearing, if it does it when clutch pedal is to the floor then it would be ur pilot bearing, hope that helps
