Need U help for EM2 1.7l swap 1.7l Vtec
hi everybody,
i'm french and i'm sorry if my english isn't very good..
I' need your help for a swap.
it on a honda civic EM2 with the motor 1.7l no vtec and an change for the 1.7l vtec.
my question is on the wiring.
what is the differance between them?
anyone have a link for the workshop or the wiring diagram ?

but i have the old motor (1.7l no vtec) and i and i have my new motor with all i need it :
wiring, ECU , ect..
My question is how to connect the wiring between the car and the ECU (if there's the different?)
and Have you got a link for wiring diagram?

PS. Your English is actually quite good. No need to apologize.
If you have the wiring, transmission, engine, and ECU from the new engine, you should have no problem installing them in the car. There's very little difference in the actual layout of the wiring, as well. It's going to have a couple additions, but nothing that won't be plainly obvious during installation.

But i have not the transmission and the ECU is for an automatic transmission but my car is not an automatic transmission..( D17A)
you think's that ok?

Oh, so you have an Automatic ECU and are trying to run it on a Manual transmission? This won't work, bud. You'll need a proper Manual ECU, preferably from an EX (D17A2). You'll also need to get it re-flashed for the immobilizer, when you're done with the swap (only a Honda dealership can do this).
