i made a thread while back but cant seem to find it.

but anyway,im fixin to start finishing my clutch install.got a exedy stage 1,act flywheel,and doing rear main seal.

couple questions.

i bought a act light flywheel.does this have to mount to the engine a specific way?like set engine to tdc or somthing then mount?i would think not right?

and for the cclutch disc,do i need to clean it off?like a parts cleaner?

and can if so do i just get like the brake cleaner stuff?

and looks like i have to clean flywheel too right,and pressure plate?

i pulled off my old clutch and flywheel and they were gone!
there was ridges all on flywheel and pressure plate surfaces.i didnt get pics of
them but got pick of clutch disc.ill post in a few.

 

dont know if anyone can see these.
but come to find out it was an act clutch kit.
previous onwer must have beat on it alot.


didnt get any of the flywheel,it rained the other day and it rusted up i left them outside.
