gsr timing help
Well I did a head gasket change reset the timing and while rotating the crank intake side went a tooth off I reset the cam forced it down slowly because it didn't sit flush after the time came out and rotated the crank went a quarter turn and heard a ping what could that be
So to recap, (correct me if I'm wrong)
-you set timing at TDC, then tensioned the belt
-rotated the crank to prime before starting
-found the intake cam to be a tooth off
-what do you mean by forced it down slowly cuz it didn't sit flush?
