B18B1 swap into 94 civic questions
alright guys i picked up a 94 integra ls for 700$. From what the guy said the motor had 3000 miles on it freshly rebuilt, and a decent tranny. im buying a 94 civic dx with everything but a front bumper for 400$. Right now i have the ecu off some other clips, seems like im only 1 away from pulling it through the firewall. So far the intake manifold, radiatior, exhaust, some hoses and the distributer off. cant seem to get the axles off but i found a fence post so ill see how that goes. From what i read and already know i can use the civics wiring harness but what does plug and play to a point mean, like what exact mods do you do. also my valves seem to be taping and i got 3 different measurments from 2 books and a online source. when i took my valve cover off today i noticed the lock nut and the adjusting screw the entire peice seemed lose on cylinder 1 and 2. anyone know stuff on this. also im parting the shell when im done with it due to the major rust everywhere. oh yea and what some good and cheap tranny rebuilt kit. and what interior motor parts should i buy, i want to upgrade like rod bearings, bolts, i think my cylinders are bored already.... we will see. what else should i do while the motor is out

since its your first post i think guys will be nice, easiest way is to search the FAQ(frequently asked questions) for the tranny rebuild since you bought an integra i would search the faq in the integra forum for tranny rebuild, then in the civic forum(92-95) search the faq for b18 swap into your car, it will have pretty much everything, then once you search that if you still have questions the more specific the better, this post is kinda all over the place, if you narrow it down its alot easier to help you out, and read over what you wrote before you submit it some of your grammar flaws make it hard to understand at times.
Sorry man I've been searching for a few days on this topic and with only a smart phone its a little bit hard. I got the axles off and the Tranny out today. The real reason I started this tread was to figure out the "tap" my motor was making and the adjustments since I got different adjustments from different sources. Also is it even the adjustment screws even the reason my motor made this tap. Um oh I have also been searching hard to find out if my cat back exhaust will fit my civic. Another subject I got multiple answers for. Thanks guys and sorry about not being specific

what exhaust? if the exhaust is already on your 94 civic its probably fitted to a d-series, when you put in the b18 you will need to cut the flange from your existing exhaust, match it to the b18 and reweld it, muffler shops usually do it for less than $100 if you dont have a welder
No I ment the one off my integra . Today I got the motor out and I know I might need my wiring harness. Now do I need only the wires with the 3 clips on both sides of the engine bay. Or the all the way to the ecu with the black box and all that fun wiring .
