Default intake and exhaust question on hb with swapped motor.

if i had a 96hb with a 96-97 b18c. what kind of aem cai would i buy? would there have to be anykind of mods i would have to make? or would it just have an exact fit?

You need the GSR intake. You'll have to make a mounting point on the Civic, at least I did, to make it work.

like he said, you need one for the gsr. Look at how the intake mani on the gsr is lower than your stock engine/si engine. You need an intake that will accomodate for that........and the winner is......the aem cai for the gsr.....

ic, so i sould need to get parts for a GSR engine?

edit: so it would be a perfect fit with a mounting point?

yep.....exhaust is a different animal though. you can either go fully custom, or get the cat-back for YOUR car and then have a shop make up the diff between the gsr and your car (flanges are twisted the wrong way, won't bolt up + is a little short).....

say that i get a ITR exhaust what would i have to do?

edit: is this the same with a b16 motor?
