hey guys,
i have a spare b16a engine in excelent condition and a cable tranny that came off of a 89 sir???,
i want to rebuild it and buy a beater to drive around in it,
i'm not looking for anything crazy,
i know i need to bore it, the sleeves are kinda rusty from storage,

i want to try and keep it as a budget build, so no valves/springs/reteinrers are going to be replaced,
my plans are:
CBR itbs.
oversized pistons, dont know the which cr yet ???
cams???? and ported head.
arp studs

i never built a na engine.
please help me decide on which CR and cams

 

If you don't plan on changing springs and retainers, you might as well throw the whole idea in the garbage

 

As a DD setup P30 type pistons in 81.5mm you done need anymore comp than that,but the head springs yes retainers yes valves I would because they are cheap these days.68mm TB ported P30 intake manifold, Toda copied headers with a 2.5" exhaust,cams use ITR or BCIII+.
