Default Can you activate and progressively control a water/meth system using s300?

I realize that you can use the nitrous/aux parameters in Hondata to alter fuel/ignition and distinguish required conditions for alcohol injection systems and nitrous, but is it possible to turn the injection on/off at specific boost pressure using Hondata's boost control? Can s300 be used to progressively control the injeciton according to boost pressure (instead of using a standalone controller from a water/meth kit)?

sure can
go to --> parmameters --> nitrous/aux (which everyone you want to use), --> make sure its enbaled --> conditions --> set engine loads both min and max.

Once you set the min and max it will turn on at x psi and turn off at x psi

Awesome, thanks! But it doesn't look like you can progressively increase the injection under parameters. Do I need a standalone alcohol injection controller to do this or is it possible to do through Hondata?

I don't know the answer to this but I can't see why you wouldn't want to progressively increase the amount of water or methanol injected to the engine. I'm not sure why that's not in there.

Yeah, it would be nice to be able to do it with Hondata. I hope someone knows of a way to do this.

At this time that is not a feature.
I am sure you could make it work if there was two PWM style outputs on the ecu & it was coded into the software, however there is not. Your best bet is to use something that has an external controller like the AEM meth kit.

Alright, good to know. Thanks for the info!

When does it become beneficial to progressively increase injection? I am running 15psi so I would probably have about a 10psi range to increase injection over. In my case, would it be extremely beneficial for me to increase the injection proportionally to the boost pressure, or can I get away with a simple "stage 1" kit and just flip it on/off through Hondata?

It depends on how much meth you are injecting.
When using a large meth/water shot I would recommend using progressive activation so it isn't like an off/on switch :-)

is there more than one output on hondata, possibly allowing you to use two steps, kind of progressive, but not as harsh as on/off???

Yeah, there is more than one auxiliary output. This is a great thought. Not really sure how you would set it up though...

I guess u could just have one of the outputs go off at the same engine load as the other output tunes on. Anyone have thoughts on doing this?
