Default speedometer help please please please k24/6sp rsx kpro

ok guys. I got a k24 with 06si 6sp tran in a 02 rsx-s with kpro. I recently got it and the guy who i picked it up from says that there is a way to hook up the vss with the kpro and not needing a frequency converter that the kpro can swap it over. Now he says that i need to extend the vss plug and plug it in the tranny and enable the countershaft option in kpro. In addition to put in a pin is e25 which is the vss out and connect that to c15 which is the vss reading at the cluster.

Now i enabled the countershaft and extended the plug and disabled the constant vss to read the actual reading and my vtec stopped popping so i know that its not reading speed so the wires to the vss may be mixed or not in right order.

If anyone can verify this and help me it would be much appreciated.
If anyone can text or call me and help me do this and get it to work, i will be more then happy to paypal a couple bucks in appreciation.

Phone number is 954-328-6166. thank you for your time.

not sure if this would help, but I remember reading about this on k20a.org. My swap came with the hybridracing converter so I really wasn't paying too much attention reading the thread though... GL bro!

I have seen these....

http://www.clubrsx.com/clubep3/HYB-HRSPEED.html

No idea if it works, Looked into putting a fg2 trans into my ep3 but between the speed sensor and the shift arm issues, I just put a queife in my stock trans......the shift arm that comes out the trans works backwards to the setup on the ep3/dc5, I am told you can pull it off and by drilling and tapping the case, you can mount you old arm on the case. I have not seen a diy yet though.

The problem is the civic SI shifting assembly. You need to swap it and convert it. Big pain in the ***. If you had an 05 it would be easier. But instead you have an 02-04 which utilizes a completely different style VSS

i dont know about the kpro option for the countershaft, i havent tried that, i just bought the hybrid racing converter for 200, hooked it up etc.. the shifter arm thing is really not that big of a deal i have done it, its quite easy. you just need a shifter arm mech from an ep3 or rsx 02-04. i have a diy on ephatch.

here ya go
