ok i swaped a type r b18c5 motor into my budies 99 civic ex vtec was working on and off when the spedo worked one day i pushed the wires in on the vss sensor and it worked perfect well i changed the plug to the vss cause it was shity and spedo didnt work at all realized pin was broke off of the vss sensor and stuck in the old plug and only making contact sometimes so i thought i solved the problem i put a d sereies vss in his car with the new plug and the spedo works find now but vtec dont work at all im thinking we need a b series vss and yes i changed the gear any ideas?
