What to ask when buying a USED longblock?

I'm not sure if this has been posted, so I apologize if it has...

What should I look for when purchasing a USED motor online? Most likely from people on H-T or off of eBay?

I'm sure there are many things to ask...especially when modded.

What does everyone feel about a car that had been FI or on Nawwwwws?

I'm either in the market for a B18C1/C5 Longblock just for references....

Yup, the engine I'm currently looking at has all the papers and is legit. That's definitely my number one priority...so aside from that what else would you ask/look for?

a while ago AJ used to have Spoon B18C longblocks for sale. They are balanced, blue printed, and dynoed i believe. Give them a call see what the pricing is like.
