i don;t know
well my new engine came in today a b18c1 for my 96 hatch, well thats what i ordered but on the engine itself it says b18c now i'm aware that the b18c is a type r motor did i get hooked up or am i just gettting too excited over nothing

is the valve cover black or red?
and you are probably getting excited over nothing
in japan, the motors have no designated number, b18c1, b18c5, they both are just b18c in japan.

if it dosent have a 1 or a 5 at the end, its a JDM motor, wich means there is no VIN number.
