how can i take bondo off???

Default how can i take bondo off???

My 92 civic Si has bondo were the molding go how can I remove the bondo to put the molding back on ???

Use a 36 grit disk on a rotary sander. Itll be gone in minutes.

You can always hope they did it the cheap way and used all bondo, you might get lucky and be able to break it out/or sand it down. If they welded in metal and then skim coated with bondo then you are best to not do anything good luck.

I think Dey did it the cheap way so I think I'm gud I took a Lil piece of nd I guess its jus bondo

Have you seen those drill attachments for sand and paint removal? It's like a really really stiff and gritty sponge. They're about 8 dollars at autozone IIRC and attaches to a regular drill. I've used this method...ate the stuff off with a quickness. I'd suggest a little bit of research before you go hacking into this though. There's also a paint and body forum here on HT...not saying don't post here but the people there usually have a much better understanding of these things and might be able to provide you with better answers, alot quicker than we can.

It's called a paint/rust remover wheel IIRC...it's like a dark brown color it'll be next to the sandpaper in auto parts stores...

^ Never heard that...you mind explaining a little bit of the method...and how well it worked...it might be more effective than my drilling for an hour.
