VTEC pressure switch plugged on new motor
I am replacing my old B16A with a CTR swap, I noticed there is no VTEC pressure switch on my new CTR engine. Question one: What does the VTEC pressure switch do, Question two: why did the factory remove it from the CTR. I know it can be disabled in my OBD1 ECU, or I can just use my old one from the B16A motor, but I would like to know why it was used for one motor and not the other, so we can decide how to deal with it in the wire harnersses that we make/sell for this conversion. (we do B-series into Clasic Mini conversions).
Thanks for your help,

they removed it for all the jdm obd2 motors. the pressure switch only is for disabling vtec when there's not enough oil pressure for vtec to engage. you really don't need it.
