Default Wiper Problem

I changed my ICU today in my EG hatch in order to get an integra headlight chime to work, anyway everything went ok, except after I put everything back when the wipers won't go back down when I turn them off, sometimes they will just stop where they are when I try to turn them off other times it won't. I took off the plastic around the steering column while I was working and thought maybe this had something to do with because I noticed as I moved the key it would stop the wipers, so it seems like some sort of short, and it happening while replacing the ICU is just a coincidence but I'm not really sure where to start.

The wiper park motor is grounded by the ICU (Blu/Wht wire).

Dude you swapped the BLU/WHT wires like I told you not to do. Go back and look at my response to your post in my DIY.

Don't mean to steal the thread but since you are on this subject, is it normal for EG wipers to SOMETIMES not return all the way to the bottom when you turn them off? I have all stock 92-95 equipment.

Normal sometimes, yes. Annoying, also yes. I find this happens only when I turn them off/on in quick succession. If it happens after they've been on for a long time, then it's possible you have another problem.

PS. This has nothing to do with the OP's orig. problem, just want to make sure you know that.

Haha, its very annoying. And yes it only happens when I turn them on/off in quick succession as well!

Thanks, and yeah I realize now that it doesn't have anything to do with his problem. =P

^ Probably has something to do with not charging up the capacitors enough in the ICU or whatever... that's my best guess.

Thanks I'll TRIPLE check it, I swear I didn't reverse those, but I'll make sure tonight.
