so me and 2 other of my fellow integra owning friends have the same problem..its the rear hatch on my 98gsr the slide to open it sometimes works by itself..other times u have to put the key in the rear and turn it and then slide the switch...whats up wit this is it supposed to be like that bc it works with w/o the key sometimes..?

 

It's supposed to open the hatch as long as the car is unlocked.

 

Its a problem that occurs on alot of 98-01 tegs.My latch used to work just fine but now I have to turn the key and slide the little piece over at the same time to open it.The little piece wont go back itself for me either.Team-integra has the part number and the write up on how to replace the actuator assembly.

 

ya i knew it had to be a common problem to happen to both of mmy friends and me. so u have to replace the lock astuator to fix that
