Default LSVtec drivability problems

I just installed an LSvtec in my car and have a few issues. The car is converted to obd1 and has no codes when it its running. I am having 2 main problems.

1. The car will idle, but if you rev it up and let off the gas quickly it will stall out.
2. While driving at constant rpm, the engine will abruptly cut out and jerk the car for a second or two.

I have 1000cc msd injectors, 3 bar Map, and it also has a base map from JK Tuning. I have a brand new Walbro 255 and and getting good fuel pressure. I did notice that the plugs were black, but I have no idea why it is cutting out intermitantly. I also have a brand new dizzy. Let me know what you guys think cause this thing isn't even road worthy enough to get to the tuner. Thanks

Are you one hundred percent positive the timing and belt are correct?

you're on a basemap with 1000cc injectors, that's your problem lol. If you cant drive it to get tuned, get a trailer

I checked the mechanical timing and it seems to be spot on. It idles fine when you keep you foot on the gas. As for timing the dizzy, I need to get it to run smoother before making that adjustment. It just seems weird that It will fall on its face after a few seconds and buck/jerk for a second. Almost like hitting a rev limiter but more abrupt.

Also noticed that I am getting -10hg of vacuum when at idle and it runs better if I create a vacuum leak?

Sounds like a tune issue

it runs better when you create a vacuum leak because you're introducing extra air which makes it run leaner. You're way too rich from what you're saying. Wideband? Is the basemap scaled for that MAP sensor and injectors?

Im with you. Basemaps are more finicky the bigger you go for injectors. A little off in the maps goes a long way (they are almost 4x larger than OEM injectors afterall).
You'd have been better off with a p72 basemap with stock injectors and not boost until you get to the tuner (either pull the wg spring or take off and intake pipe if you cant be trusted not to boost). Then swap the injectors when you get to the tuner.

i agree.. im gonna be running 1000's to and also tuned by jk and the car was tuned on 450s before.. im gonna do a test start up then trailer it down to jk then put the 1000's in it.. that base map is not supporting the 1000's.. its way to rich
