Default cam question

just wondering what would be a good choice in cams for a 10:0.1 compression ls vtec with aebs intake mani, gsr head, hitech rep small tube header. i have a set of skunk2 tuner 2 but thought they may be a bit to much for my compression but was wondering about the bc3+ cams

I just picked up a set of these BC3+ cams for my LSV as well last week.. wont be trying them tilll round summer, but from what I've read theyre pretty good midrange cams till power drops around 8K, and should do the job w/ stock slightly better comp compared to others where u need higher CR or else u actually lose power.

careful when using these cams with stock LS pistons they will hit as type r cams already nick the outter edge of the valve relief.

U should just hit up skunk and ask them. They will know if the cam is good for your setup

As for the OP not sure, but i have a set of PR3 pistons on stock LS rods / ARP bolts waiting on the side to go in w/ build to raise my CR a bit, thinner headgasket, maybe a slight shave off the head would also help out the CR, just gotta double check my clearances..

well my motor has arias pistons so piston to valve would be fine. the person i bought the car from built the ls motor for boost. here is my deal i have a built b20 vtec sitting at my house on the stand but i was thinking of selling my b20 block and putting my gsr head on my ls block and boosting it down the road just wanted to know if bc3+ cams would be good with 10 to 1 compresion being that thats what the motor would yield
