Default bolt question on suspension

so i ordered some skunk2 pro-s version 2 and it's for a em1 but when installing i notice there's a gap in the fork in the rear struts so it's made to fit 92-00 civic and integra. i added the washers skunk2 provided and my oem bolt wont go all the way through the welded nut....there's prob 3-5 threads before it sits flush with the welded nut. because of the gap the bolt wont go all the way through. so my question is would the integra bolt go all the way through? and would it be okay for the bolt so sit in within 3-5 threads in the welded nut? thanks

Get an integra/92 - '95 civic bolt. Don't leave the short bolt in it.

Just one of the reasons I don't like the Skunk2's..

Yeah get a bolt for the older Civic.

92-95 Civic Bolt: 90172-SK7-A01 015 002 BOLT, SHOCK ABSORBER (LOWER) (10X84)
96-00 Civic Bolt: 90173-SR3-003 017 002 BOLT, ARM (LOWER) (10X80)
