Sorry, no pics, but you essentially adjust the tension so that the bare cable between the adjuster and the throttle body deflects (bends) between 10-12mm, about 0.4 to 0.5 inches.
If it's still not snappy, you may need to replace the cable. Before you do that, try some WD-40?
I offer this having no with it experience myself - though I will soon - so hopefully someone who's done the deed can chime in.
Good luck

the gsr cable looks weird compared to the other ones.
no matter which way im turning it feels exactly the same. not less sensitive not more sensitve
instead of 2 bolts i have ONE bolt and a COG looking thing the **** is a COG doing here instead of a washer/locking nut
gets in the way a lot and i dont think its feeding thru the |_| chamber straight
sorry if its hard to understand

Yea, it comes from the throttle body / passenger side, and from above downward, rather than from the driver / intake side. I don't have a throttle body with the mounting hardware for the cable stay.. so I don't know what to tell you.
There should be nuts on both side of the bracket, any chance you have one on the wrong side so the cable isn't being held tightly? In your case (GSR) the lock nut should be above the bracket, and the adjusting nut (big knurled thing) is below it..
Loosen the lock nut, turn the adjusting nut to pull the cable jacket away (tighten), then tighten the locknut.
You suppose the spring on the throttle body is messed up so it can't put enough tension on the cable?
How about down at the pedal - do the springs there appear to be working correctly?
Between them they account for a lot of that tension you're looking for...

i'll get to readjusting tomorrow
but do you mean pull the cable towards the left tightens it? as in the boot thing gets stretched = it is getting tighter?
