Ok , I need some help here my fellow honda-tech members. Well I discover that the old golden eagle lsvtec kit doesnt have a lock ring that holds the inner shaft on the other end that holds the shaft from coming back out and that use to be a problem. The current kit golden eagle sells now, they put a locking ring on the other end to hold the inner shaft from moving out and in when your hand tighten to the block, I guess to make sure its flush when its tighten down to prevent a tight seal and leaks and this is the one I have.

Well my question is, im not really sure if its leaking between the adaptor and the block or leaking between my oil filter and the adaptor but I do know its leaking there and its hard to tell where its leaking exactly. I drips every second when it was leaking so something is definetely not installed correctly.

So with the golden eagle sandwich plate, do you need a specific oil filter? The one I have is just a STP oil filter. I did hand tighten the oil filter down when the sandwich plate was out, and the rubber ring around the oil filter seems to sit on the sandwich plate, although its pretty close to the edge also but it should leak i think.

I contacted Golden eagle too about this, until then maybe you guys might get back to me faster and the car is my daily
