98 accord my air only blows out the bottom any ideas ? also it only blows hott air my compressor is out but still even when i switch to cold side still blows hott any ideas?

 

If your compressor isn't working, it's pretty obvious what the answer to your hot/cold problem is.

As far as it only blowing out of the bottom, do you have buttons or ***** on your heater control panel?

 

buttons to controll up and down n defrost none seem to make a difference and i meant even if its cold out and it have air and cold it comes out FIRE HOT

i know i need a compressor

 

Pop open your hood and look at your heater hoses where they go into the firewall. You'll see this:



Have someone else switch the **** from hot to cold. Do you see that thing moving?

Check the inputs to the mode control motor, don't have a 6th gen, on the 5th gen you can get to it from the drivers side looking up from the foot area.

 

Do you park under trees or anything?? Stuff gets in the vents.. As for your Hot air, it needs to be recharged. If it has been and wont stay cold you have a leak in the hose line or most likely right where it bolts into the compressor.. Check it out. honda A/C compressors dont usually go out.
