95 Civic air condition not blowing cold
I own a 95 honda civic lx 5spd. Im having problems with my ac. I recharged it yesterday and it still blows hot. I drove it that same day decied to turn on the ac on it started to blow cold but not too cold. When I come to a dead stop it blows hot air. Then today I turn on the ac when heading to work and now it doesn't blow cold. I checked to see if I have free on left inside and its still charged. Anyone got any idea what could be the problem?
Is there anything not working or messed up on your climate control? My climate control's blue/red (temp) slider was hard to move and messed up but when I was able to move it to cold(blue) it still blew hot air.
So I figures that the ac needed a recharge or some other prob. One day I found a climate control for cheap before I had the ac looked at and changed the sucker out.
Welll guess what? the ac started blowing cold air like before. So maybe the cable that closes and opens the respective temp doors has come off or is broken.
But check your compressor to make sure that the clutch is engaging as it should and working properly.

I recharged the system cuz it was low, I put just enough to where the gauge says filled. I used the can EZ Chill Auto Air Conditioning that comes with the gauge from walmart.
Yes the fan turns on when ac is on

When the A/C is on and blowing warm air, the fan runs but does the compressor clutch engage?

Yeah. YOu don't answer question and you don't give enough information.
Answer ALL of these questions if you want better help.
How low was the refrigerant? Was the system empty? The gauge on those cheap refrigerant cans are inaccurate, so it's easy to over or under fill the system. You need a manifold gauge set to diagnose the system.

^^^ Thought i answered those questions listed above???
- Refrigerant was low (idk how low but the gauge that came with the can said low)
- Fan runs when ac is on
- Compressor clutch engages when ac button switch is turn on
Their all listed above

It was also stated that the gauges on those cans are highly inaccurate so you may have under/overfilled the system. Do it properly. Maybe you should use this guide.

Okay so i just got myself a manifold gauge set to check my ac system. Never got a chance to check it but will do first thing tomorrow morning. Before i do, what numbers will i need to get for both low and high ports?
The answer is not quite that simple. Can you also get a thermometer so that you can measure the outside air temperature and the air temp that blows from the vent?
Okay so i went to napa this morning to get a thermometer. Just got done with checking the ac pressure. So on the low side it read 26 and the high side it read 25. The thermometer read 86 on the outside and when i placed it in the vent for 10 minutes with rpm set at 1500 it read 103
Was the high side 25 or 250?
If your numbers are accurate, the system is almost empty of refrigerant, suggesting a large leak in the system. You can add refrigerant with a leak-detecting dye, which will allow you to pinpoint where refrigerant is leaking from.

So i refilled it with free on again since it was low. Now low is up on 50 and high is up on 109 and ac is still not cold. Anymore clues? Oh and the needle on low port shakes but when i tried it on my other civic needle does not shake. When adding free on does anyone know when to stop before i overcharge it?
You can buy a manifold gauge set for $50 or less if you shop around. Can you return it?
You are moving forward way too quickly. If there is a leak and air is in system, the A/C won't work. In this case, you need to leak test the system, fix the leak, replace the receiver/dryer, evacuate the system, and then recharge the system with exactly the amount of refrigerant prescribed in the service manual (~22 oz).
With that said, it seems that the compressor may be bad. When you run the A/C and then shut it off, do the high and low side pressures rapidly equalize?
