I would start by replacing the parking brake light, also check brake fluid level and check the operation of the brake fluid level float in the reservoir. 94

level is good, how do i check the float? and how would that be throwing an ABS code(parking brake) if the float is bad im going to check the actual e-brake sensor today, if it does turn out to be bad, who knows how long it's been bad cause my brake light bulb(in the dash) has been hurnt out forever

Both the hand brake, [e-brake] switch and the brake fluid level switch supply a ground to the hand brake warning light.

To test the brake fluid level switch, unplug the plug that goes to brake reservoir lid, connect a multimeter to the two terminals of the lid plug, [lid side] set meter to continuity, move the float up and down on shaft, meter should show continuity only when float is at bottom of shaft, [low brake fluid].

The hand brake switch is a simple grounding switch, should only ground out when handle is up.

You could also just replace the warning bulb and see if it turns on and off when you use the hand brake and unscrew the reservoir lid.

The above may not be your problem, but until you eliminate them, you can't know for sure. 94

So tell everyone what was wrong, so someone searching can check and see if they have the same problem. 94

my problem ended up being either the bulb or my actual reservoir cover...my connections were pretty corroded and the float was slightly sticking
