Lately every morning when I go to school my hand brake light stays on until I start driving for about 5 minutes and which point the light just shuts off. I am not sure if it has to do with the weather as it gets around low 40's overnight. Any ideas on what is the deal. Oh and my ABS light comes on too once and awhile but I really dont care about that just the e-brake.

 

Check your brake fluid level...

 

the brake light isnt only for your hand brake...its also an indicator for your brake fluid level
