I keep hitting the rev limiter at 7000! WTF!
CRX B16A with I/H/E
I gave it a recent tune-up with new NGK plugs, dist cap and rotor, and wires. Other than that, no engine mods. ECU is PW0. I have an aftermarket tach.
Keep in mind, this is when the engine is warm, and it is still hitting VTEC at 4700.
Any ideas why I keep hitting the rev limiter at 7 grand? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Got enough oil in it? Is the motor warmed up? It will fuel cut @ 7200 in 'safe mode' if the oil pressure isn't adequate, or if the motor is not safely warmed up......
are you throwing any codes? code 6 = you probably have the ECT and the vtec oil pressure sensors switched. if there's a code 6, the computer keeps the cold start rev limit on full-time.

you're hitting rev limit at 7k because you have a pwo ecu and that what it's set to hit when you're throwing specific codes.... "safe mode"
